What kind of photographer are you?

I love capturing crazy, wild, fun, adventurous families and couples - directing chaos, adoration and gorgeous light to create images that take you back and make you feel amazing, loved and alive! I eternalise organic, authentic and meaningful moments by getting to know you and your family and working with you throughout the entire session experience so that every family member is comfortable in being their true self in front of my camera!

How long will my session go for?

My “Moments in Nature"‘ session goes for about 60 minutes. Your session will be scheduled according to best light depending on the time of year and is all about enjoying the environment and having fun with your nearest and dearest! 60 minutes gives everyone a chance to warm up and and become familiar with me and the environment, relax, be in the moment, bask in the rays of the setting sun and wind up before the kids attention span is at an absolute stretch.

What will my session be like?

I want your photography experience to be as easy and enjoyable as possible! Throughout the booking process, you will always be talking with me personally - I will be providing information, answering any questions and getting to know you and your family throughout all conversation leading up to the session. During the session, I will direct or guide most of what you do - you’ll never be left wondering where to stand or look or what to do with your hand! After the session, I will go into hermit mode and come out the other side to provide you with the goods - a link to all of the magic created on that day! We will then arrange a time for collection of your physical prints! Done! And all for one price - no follow up appointments, no tricky decision making, no backwards and forwards arrangements, no extending your budget for add on’s - you book, we do the session, you get everything!

What if my family doesn’t cooperate?

If you have a family, then you know they’re not perfect. The best thing to do heading into a photo session is to LET GO! Kid’s pick up on their parents anxiety. Letting go will help you and them relax! Let’s be real, that’s what we’re here for! I’ve got plenty of tricks to help engage your kids and set a playful tone. If there’s tears, no stress - cuddles make some of the best intimate moments! Let the kids be kids and embrace the crazy reality of their current ages and temperaments!

How far in advance should I book my session?

  • If you have family visiting over Christmas/New Year and would really love some fun family memories of that time, I’d advise booking as soon as you know what dates they will be here.

  • If you’re wanting your memories ready in time to give as Christmas gifts, we would look to book your session for November so I’d suggest getting in touch at least 4 weeks prior (September/October).

  • February through to September, getting in touch 2-4 weeks in advance is fine.

Will I get the digital photos from my session?

Yes!!! All session types include an online gallery where you will be able to download ALL images at their highest resolution as well as the ability to share your gallery with friends and family! My sessions also include 5x7 inch prints so you can start sticking your photos on the wall and fridge, and handing them out to Gramps and Grandma without delay! You’ve invested time and money in this, sprinkle that joy everywhere!

When you say ALL photos, how many is that?

Every family and every session is different, so it’s hard to give an exact number but I can guarantee that there will be at least 50 images presented in your gallery! This is not all images taken, but all images selected and post-processed to my professional standard then presented to you as beautiful, user-friendly, high quality JPEG files.

How long until we get our photos?

Your online gallery will be ready within 14 days of the session with prints ready for collection 2-3 days later. That’s the session done and dusted - the only other request is that you tell all your friends and family how easy and fun the whole experience was so that I can meet more wonderful people like you!

What should we wear?

NO BIG LOGOS!
Logos and pictures, as well as absurdly bright colours, are distracting and can take away from the connection and story being told in a photograph.

CO-ORDINATE your outfits, do not match!
We don’t want you all wearing the same thing, that’s not normal. Instead, pick a few colours that go well together and choose your outfits within that colour palette. Neutrals are an easy option! Alternatively, I like to choose my own outfit then find my partner and son’s outfits to compliment that :D
